Ingredients:

4      Portabella mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed

2 T.  balsamic vinegar

2      cloves garlic, finely minced

1 T.  Italian seasoning

1 t.   black pepper, coarsely ground

Nonfat cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes. Place the mushrooms in the grill, underside facing up.
  2. Drizzle the vinegar over each mushroom and sprinkle with garlic, Italian seasoning and pepper. Grill for 5-6 minutes, or until tender.  Pass condiments of your choice.

Serves 4.  – Equals cooked vegetable
